Awareness campaign across Maha on Safer Internet Day

Mumbai, Feb 11 (UNI) On behalf of Department of Information Technology and National Informatics Centre (NIC), Maharashtra, through the ISEA project of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), an awareness campaign was conducted across the state on the occasion of Safer Internet Day on Tuesday.
The campaign aims to motivate children, women and youth to use the internet safely and responsibly.
Based on the global concept of “Together for a Better Internet”, various workshops were organised at the state, district, taluk and gram panchayat levels.

Mumbai Mar 13 (UNI) Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray on Thursday took a dig at Maharashtra's Mahayuti government, saying it talks of Hindutva during elections, but imposes restrictions on Marathi festivals after coming to power."Why is this government so averse to the festivals of the Marathi people? What kind of policy is it to implement Hindutva during elections and then restrict Marathi festivals after coming to power?" questioned Thackeray.Countering Thackeray, BJP leader Ram Kadam said the idea of "abandoning Hindutva" got a big slap in the assembly elections. "That same UBT has now remembered Hindu festivals," he taunted."There is no ban on any festival or celebration in our government. Mumbai Mar 13 (UNI) Countering Maharashtra BJP Minister Nitesh Rane's claim that there was not a single Muslim in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's army, NCP-AP MLA Amol Mitkari on Thursday posted a list of Muslim chieftains on his X account and urged Rane to "familiarise" himself with history.The controversy began after Rane's comment that Shivaji Maharaj's army did not include a single Muslim soldier.Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar advised Rane to read history before making such baseless claims.Mitkari buttressed his arguments by sharing a compiled list of Muslim officers and soldiers who played prominent roles in the Maratha army.
