Zilla Parishad school headmasters attend workshop to promote Tobacco-free campus

Kolhapur, June 30 (UNI) A workshop for headmasters and teachers of Zilla Parishad schools and other managements was held at the headmaster's association hall with the aim of making schools in the district tobacco-free.
This workshop was organised under the guidance of the District Collector and Chief Executive Officer in collaboration with the National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP), Zilla Parishad Education Department and Salam Mumbai Foundation Mumbai.
In the programme, Education Officer (Primary) Dr Meena Shendkar highlighted the importance of tobacco-free living, explaining that it is the need of the hour for the future generation to remain addiction-free.

Mumbai, July 3 (UNI) The fourth day of the monsoon session of the Maharashtra assembly commenced here today with the Opposition targeting the Fadnavis-led Mahayuti government for alleged irregularities in municipal waste management.
Former state Congress president and MLA Nana Patole lashed out against the Fadnavis government, alleging that even decisions about municipal waste management are taken at the behest of "Modi-Shah".

No proposal for bank loan for beneficiaries of Majhi Ladki Bahin yojna: Minster Takare
