Former Maha CM Prithviraj Chavan criticises PM Modi on US tariffs, its fallout

Mumbai, Apr 9 (UNI) Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not taking concrete steps to cushion the Indian markets from the aftereffects of US President Donald Trump's decision to slap reciprocal tariffs.
"After US President Trump imposed increased tariff duty on countries around the world, its direct impact has started on India. The Mumbai Stock Exchange index fell by about 2,000 points," said
Chavan, and also strongly criticised PM Modi over the country's bilateral relations with the US.

Maha: Govt takes decision to increase commission of ration shopkeepers by Rs 20 per quintal
