46 pc increase in honorarium of contractual employees in BARTI Institute: Minister

Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) The honorarium of contractual employees working for the last 12 years in the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training (BARTI) Institute has been increased by 46 percent as per dearness allowance.
These employees have been working on honorarium for many years. This increase has given them relief, said Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat on Saturday.
Minister Shirsat said that this increase was very necessary considering the financial difficulties created due to rising inflation.
With this decision, a satisfactory solution has been found to the demand for increase in honorarium of the contractual employees working in the caste verification offices, BARTI headquarters, sub-centers and under the Social Justice Department.

All the employees expressed the feeling that this decision taken in the interest of the employees is the true implementation of social justice and thanked Minister Shirsat.
