Seven dead in bus rollover in Equador

Quito, Mar 31 (UNI) At least seven people were killed and 11 injured on Sunday when an interprovincial bus overturned in southwest Ecuador's coastal province of Guayas, local authorities said.
The accident occurred around 4:00 a.m. local time (0900 GMT) at the Guayaquil-Playas Highway near the El Consuelo district, the Guayaquil Fire Department said on X, posting images of the overturned bus on the side of the road.
The department dispatched six ambulances, two rescue units and two combat units to handle the emergency, transporting the injured to hospitals.
