Flooding kills 6, injures 5 in Afghanistan's Helmand

Lashkar, Afghanistan, Feb. 26 (UNI) At least six people have been killed and five others were injured after flash floods caused by heavy rains in southern Afghanistan's Helmand province, a local official reported Wednesday.
The recent flash floods swept through multiple regions, including Garashk, Sangin, Musa Qala, Nawzad, Babaji districts and Lashkar Gah city, the capital of the province, said Hafiz Abdul Bari Rashid, provincial director of information and culture.
On Tuesday, rain-related incidents in the provinces of Kandahar and Farah, adjacent to Helmand, killed 29 people and injured several others.
