Honduras accepts 174 Venezuelan migrants deported from US: Foreign Ministry

Mexico City, Feb 21 (UNI) The Honduran Foreign Ministry has announced a joint operation with the United States to deport 174 Venezuelan illegal migrants.
"Today, humanitarian actions are being carried out to resettle Venezuelan migrants from the United States to Venezuela through the joint US-Honduran military base Soto Cano in Palmerola, Comayagua; 170 citizens of Venezuelan origin are being transferred from a plane flying the US flag to a plane flying the Venezuelan flag," the ministry said on X on Thursday.
Honduran Foreign Minister Enrique Reina noted that the total number of Venezuelans being deported was 174.
