Death toll from Myanmar earthquake rises to 3,085 - Reports

Beijing, Apr 3 (UNI) The death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has risen to 3,085, Xinhua reported, citing the information team of the country's State Administration Council.
A total of 4,715 were injured, and 341 people are missing, the report said.
A 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28, with tremors felt in Bangladesh, India, Laos, China and Thailand. The quake damaged underground oil pipelines, local authorities said the next day, adding that power lines had also been cut and oil tankers were arriving on the country's shores to ease fuel shortages. A number of countries, including Russia and Belarus, have been assisting Myanmar with relief efforts, including by sending rescue teams.
Previous reports put the death toll from the earthquake at 2,886.
