China welcomes Russia-US talks in Riyadh - Foreign Ministry

Beijing, Feb 18 (UNI) Beijing welcomes all efforts to achieve peace, including the current negotiations between Russia and the United States in Riyadh, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday.
High-level delegations from Russia and the United States started negotiations in Riyadh earlier in the day. The negotiations are taking place at one of the Saudi royal family's palaces, the Diriyah Palace.
"We welcome all efforts aimed at achieving peace, including the consensus on peace talks reached by the United States and Russia," Guo told reporters.
