Moscow, Feb 25 (UNI) Russia and the United States could think about returning to the project of hydroelectric power plant and aluminum production in Russia's Krasnoyarsk Territory, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday.
"The most important thing, in my opinion, is that we could think about cooperation with American companies in this direction. Now, for example, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, back in Soviet times, there were plans to build a new hydroelectric power plant and to create additional [enterprises] for aluminum production... It is true that this is a capital-intensive, investment-intensive project.
According to preliminary estimates, it cost or will cost about 15 billion at today's prices," Putin said in an interview with Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin.
