IDF confirms attack on head of Hezbollah’s air defense in southern Lebanon

Tel Aviv, Mar 11 (UNI) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday confirmed the elimination of Hezbollah’s Aerial Array commander in the south of Lebanon.
"Earlier today (Tuesday), the IAF [Israeli Air Force] conducted a precise intelligence-based strike in the area of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, eliminating Hassan Abbas Ez-Eldin, the Head of Hezbollah’s Aerial Array in the 'Bader' Regional Unit," the IDF said.
According to the IDF’s statement, Hassan Abbas was a "significant source of knowledge" in Hezbollah’s Aerial Array and was leading the rebuilding efforts of the unit after it had been significantly damaged by IAF strikes during combat actions.
Earlier in the day, Lebanese media reported that the Israeli air force had attacked a car in the southwest of Lebanon, specifying that the attack targeted Hezbollah’s air defense senior official.
