Russia provides evidence of Ukraine's war crimes to international bodies - Delegation Head

Moscow, June 30 (UNI) Russia has submitted extensive evidence of the crimes committed by the Ukrainian military to international organizations, but these claims are "being swept under the carpet," Yulia Zhdanova, the new head of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks on military security and arms control, has told Sputnik.
"Our diplomats in Vienna, Geneva and New York have provided hundreds of pages of evidence to their secretariats in recent years, but it seems, due to pressure from Kiev's Western sponsors, it is all being swept under the carpet. This is a shame for international bodies," Zhdanova said in an interview.
Since 2014, Ukraine has been accused of committing mass killings, shelling, and genocide against residents of the eastern region Donbas, while subjecting Russian-speaking communities to relentless terror, according to the International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis. In the Kursk Region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot civilians – including women, children, and the elderly – in their homes and during evacuation attempts in civilian vehicles. It also reported deliberate murders and torture of Russian and Russian-speaking Ukrainian citizens, as well as the mistreatment of Russian soldiers. Russian authorities claim the Ukrainian military has engaged in targeted shelling and killings of civilians to fuel anti-Russian disinformation in Western media.
