Spain’s far-right Vox party opposes sending Spanish troops to Ukraine

Madrid, Feb 19 (UNI) The Spanish far-right Vox party does not support the idea of ​​sending Spanish troops to participate in a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, party spokesperson Pepa Millan said.
"We do not support sending troops anywhere. We believe that our forces, the state security forces and the army should first and foremost defend Spain and protect the Spaniards from the main problems that we are currently facing, including illegal migration," Millan said at a press conference on Tuesday.
At the same time, the party advocates increasing spending on the kingdom's defense, as this is an investment in the "security of all Spaniards."
