Zelenskyy terms Oval Office spat with Trump 'regrettable' as US halts military aid

Kyiv/Washington, March 4 (UNI) Hours after US President Donald Trump ordered a pause on US military aid to Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today said that his Oval Office meeting with Trump “did not go the way it was supposed to”, terming it as “regrettable”, and added that Ukraine is ready to negotiate an end to the conflict.
In a post on X, the Ukrainian leader said that he is ready to go ahead with the agreement on minerals with the US.
“Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive.
