NSUI Telangana to hold special screening of 'Phule' on Rahul Gandhi’s birthday

Hyderabad, June 18 (UNI) In celebration of Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi's birthday tomorrow, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Telangana unit, under the leadership of State President Yadavalli Venkataswamy, will host a special screening of the film "Phule".

The screening, scheduled for 1200 hours on June 19 at PVR Cinemas, Next Galleria Mall, Panjagutta, Hyderabad, is being organised as a tribute to the values of social justice, equality, and education inspired by Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Kranti Jyoti Savitribai Phule.

Directed by national NSUI President Varun Choudhary’s guidance, the event aims to highlight Rahul Gandhi’s continued commitment to Phules’ legacy, including his strong advocacy for a nationwide caste census, OBC reservations in legislatures, and equitable access to education under Article 15(5).

All Telangana NSUI members have been invited to attend the screening to reaffirm their commitment to the ideals of social justice and women’s empowerment, a statement said.
