Pak: TikTok influencer Rajab Butt arrested for keeping lion cub

Lahore, Jan 24 (UNI) TikTok personality Rajab Butt, who had admitted to keeping the cub in violation of the laws, was arrested from his residence in Lahore after a raid conducted jointly by the Punjab Wildlife Department and police last month, media reports said.
The arrest was made following a complaint lodged by a wildlife officer with a local Judicial Magistrate in Lahore, Express Tribune reported.
The authorities took action when a video surfaced showing Butt receiving a newborn lion cub as a wedding gift, raising concerns over illegal possession of wildlife, the report said.
