Punjab: BJP national gen-secy strongly criticises Congress

Chandigarh, May 4 (UNI) BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a scathing attack on the Congress, alleging that on the instructions of Leader of Opposition in parliament Rahul Gandhi, its leaders are speaking in the language of Pakistan’s Army, ISI and its media.
He stated that "under the instructions of Rahul Gandhi, senior leaders like Siddaramaiah, Tariq Anwar, Saifuddin Soz, Charanjit Singh Channi and now Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai, are systematically following a toolkit designed to echo the language of Pakistan’s Army, ISI and its media, all with the aim of demoralizing India’s brave armed forces and security personnel."
Commenting on Ajay Rai’s recent antics, where he displayed a toy ‘Rafale’ plane with chillies and lemons hanging from it, Chugh said, “This isn’t just a juvenile stunt. This is an outright insult to the Indian Air Force and to the weapon systems that our jawans consider sacred. Rafale jets have significantly bolstered India’s aerial strength, and Congress is mocking them just to grab headlines and appease anti-India lobbies.”
He further said, "This is not just a shameful but a calculated attempt to aid Pakistan’s propaganda. The same Congress that asked for proof after the surgical and air strikes is now mocking the very aircraft that make such decisive actions possible. Is Congress now uncomfortable with India’s growing defence capabilities?"
He further said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong leadership, India is firmly committed
to punishing terrorists, their supporters and masterminds.
"Congress’ repeated attempts to question and ridicule the armed forces only exposes their deep-rooted discomfort with a confident, assertive India," Chugh said.
He affirmed that the Modi government follows a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism and is empowering our forces with cutting-edge technology and unwavering political will.
"The nation demands an answer from Congress, why does it repeatedly speak in the tone of
Pakistan when it comes to national security," he added.
