Punjab: Two of 4 teenage boys drown in Beas river on Baisakhi

Kapurthala. Apr 13 (UNI) Two of four teenaged boys drowned while swimming in Beas river near village Verowal in the district on occasion of Baisakhi festival on Sunday.
Two of them were rescued by divers and NDRF team and they were taken to Kapurthala civil hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
The deceased have been identified as Arshdeep Singh and Jaspal Singh, both of them aged 17 years
belonged to village Peerwall falling in Kapurthala.
Meanwhile, NDRF team and local divers were searching for two others in the river.
The search operation was continuing till the reports last came in, said SSP Gaurav Toor.
