Moscow, Apr 21 (UNI) Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to explore the possibility of creating a national supercomputer center that would be available for use by Russian researchers, the Kremlin said on Monday.
"The Russian government is hereby ordered ... to consider the issue of creating a national supercomputer center, taking into account previous orders and considering the possibility of giving Russian researchers access to its computing power, as well as the need to train personnel for this center," the Kremlin said in a statement.
A report on the matter should be prepared by July 15. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been assigned to oversee the order's execution.
