Raj: Modi university to provide scholarships to topper students

Udaipur, May 17 (UNI) Modi university located in Laxmangarh, Rajasthan will provide scholarships of up to 100 percent to top female students in national level competitive examinations, an official said.
Senior university official Praveen Jha said here today that the university will give additional scholarships of up to 10 percent to girl students to promote higher education, while 10 percent scholarship will be given to girls of Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu during the entire course. According to government rules, 10 per cent scholarship will be given to persons with disabilities belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and economically backward classes during the entire course.
He said that under the special scholarship scheme of the university, there is a provision of 50 percent scholarship in tuition fees to the children of martyrs, 35 percent scholarship in tuition fees to the children of serving or retired soldiers in the army and paramilitary forces during their entire studies and 25 percent scholarship to the children of serving or retired policemen.
Shri Jha said that more attention is being paid to the course of research to make a developed India in Modi University, so that the university can be helpful in the progress of the country.
