Mumbai, Apr 14 (UNI) Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has heaped praise on Randeep Hooda for his "simply awesome" performance in the recently-released action-drama 'Jaat'.

Released in theaters on April 10, 'Jaat' has quickly become a talking point among cinephiles and critics alike.

His transformation into a ruthless anti-hero has been singled out as a standout, compelling Varma to publicly commend his performance.

On X, Varma reacted to Randeep’s tweet and wrote, “Hey @RandeepHooda u were simply AWESOME in #Jaat ..GREEK GOD looks combined with CHILLING MENACE mixed with EXPLOSIVE ENERGY , the ultimate CONCOCTION of MASS MASALA.”

According to trade tracking portal Sacnilk, 'Jaat' has raked in an impressive Rs 40 crore within just four days of its release in the Indian market, underscoring its commercial success.

Helmed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with People Media Factory, 'Jaat' also includes Sunny Deol in a pivotal role, Regina Cassandra, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Saiyami Kher as its ensemble cast.
