New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Replus, a battery manufacturing company and part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, on Monday announced its plan to expand its current 1GWh production facility to 6GWh within the next year.
This major expansion will incorporate next-generation battery technologies to serve the rapidly growing Indian market for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Energy Storage System (ESS) segments, the company said in a release.
The upgraded Replus 6GWh facility will be designed to deliver -- High Speed Automation Manufacturing Process; Adoption of Advanced Cell Chemistry; and Next Gen Products.
To meet the evolving needs of the market, the plant will adopt a cell chemistry & technology agnostic approach with capability of handling high energy density cells, blade cells, future cell chemistry cells, including Na-ion, LMFP, LTO, etc.
The products rolling out from the plant will cater to variety of electric vehicles, including EV passenger vehicles, EV buses, EV trucks and grid scale renewable plants with Advanced Battery Packs & Liquid Cooled BESS Container Solution.
