Rice mill gutted in massive fire in Kaithal village, stocks of rice worth crores reduced to ashes

Kaithal, May 3 (UNI) A massive fire broke out at a rice mill, Jeevisha Foods Private Limited, at around 9 pm on Friday in the nearby village Barot, causing loss of crores of rupees.
Rice, bardana and stocks were gutted in the devastating fire. According to mill owner Amarjeet Chhabra, this fire has caused a loss of Rs five to six crores. The fire was so fierce that eight vehicles of the fire brigade were deployed to control it overnight.
At the same time, the walls of the warehouse were demolished by three JCB machines.
