Mumbai, Apr 3 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Thursday slipped 322.08 pts to settle at 76,295.36 amidst US Trump government imposed 26 per cent reciprocal tarrif on Indian import.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 82.25 pts at 23,250.10.
Smartly recovered by over 500 pts on Wednesday, the BSE Sensex nosedived 806 pts to open at 75,811.86 pts. It was further dropped 810 pts at 75,807.55, days low. In late trade, it was recovered from days low figure, but ended in red only at 76,295.36, sliding 322.08 pts from its previous close.
The Nifty registered days high at 23,306.50
and low at 23,145.80 pts.
Stocks that dragged the market were Focused IT by 4.13 pc followed by IT by 3.78 pc and Technology by 2.85 pc.
The Mid cap rose by 0.31 pc and Small cap by 0.76 pc.
In 30 scrips, 12 advanced while 18 declined.
The losers were TCS by 4.02 pc to Rs 3402.50, HCL Technology by 3.96 pc to Rs 1467, Tech Mahindra by 3.84 pc to Rs 1369, Infosys by 3.54 pc to Rs 1495 and Tata Motors by 2.37 pc to Rs 655.90.
The gainers were Powergrid by 4.57 pc to Rs 299.80, Sun Pharma by 3.33 pc to Rs 1771.30, Ultracemco by 2.92 pc to Rs 11,583.65 and NTPC by 1.92 pc to Rs 358.65.
