Mumbai, June 3 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday dropped 332 pts at 81,041 in early trade as selling pressure was seen in financial services, Bankex and Power stocks amid mixed global cues.
The Nifty fell 84 pts at 24,631.20.
Though, the Sensex opened positive at 81,492.50, it immediately went in red at the moment the BSE Sensex was trading at 81,041 sliding 332 pts.
As it registered intra-day high and low at 81,774 and 80,948.20 respectively.
The Nifty registered days high at 24,845.10
and low at 24,601.30 pts.
Selling in Financial services, Power, Utilities and Bankex kept the market week for the third straight session today.
The Mid cap eased 0.28 pc and small cap by 0.45 pc.
In 30 scrips, 7 advanced while 23 declined.
The losers were Adani Ports by 2.31 pc to Rs 1434.45, L& T by 1.25 pc to Rs 3637, Bajaj Finance by 1.01 pc to Rs 9039.70 and ICICI Bank by 0.82 pc to Rs 1439.10.
The gainers were Eternal by 1.12 pc to Rs 244, Tech Mahindra by 0.65 pc to Rs 1557.75, M& M by 0.46 pc to Rs 3039.60 and Tata Steel by 0.44 pc to Rs 159.75.
