Since Nehru era, Congress protecting interests of other countries instead of India : BJP

Patna, May 23 (UNI) BJP on Friday alleged that since the time of Jawaharlal Nehru, Congress has been protecting interests of other countries instead of India.
Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal said that Congress had always been advocating interests of other countries rather than India. Recently, during the operation Sindoor carried out by Indian Armed forces, Congress had raised issues which were well accepted and cheered by people of Pakistan and its media, he added.
"It is a well known fact that a senior Congress leader had addressed a dreaded international terrorist with suffix Ji to his name ", Jaiswal said, adding that first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharn Lal Nehru had also taken care of the interest of China and Pakistan during talks at international level.
"His present descendent also lost no opportunity to defame India during his visits to foreign countries,
he alleged making an oblique reference to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who had always been raising issue of lack of freedom of expression on foreign soil and blamed Narendra Modi government for such scenario.
The BJP leader said that Congress had also demanded proof of air0 Strike and Surgical Strike carried out by Indian Armed forces to dismantle terror outfits in Pakistan. Operation Sindoor had only been suspended and it would begin with more vigour and precision if Pakistan got indulged in any misadventure of cross border terrorism, he stressed.
