Sivakarthikeyan to headline A.R. Murugadoss' 'Dil Madharasi', releasing Sep 5

Mumbai, Apr 16 (UNI) South Indian film star Sivakarthikeyan is gearing up for his next big-screen venture, 'Dil Madharasi', a riveting action-thriller helmed by celebrated filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss, which is set to hit the silver screens on September 5 this year.
'Dil Madharasi' marks Sivakarthikeyan's maiden collaboration with director A.R. Murugadoss, and promises a dynamic experience.
Following the resounding success of 'Amaran', Sivakarthikeyan is set to enthrall fans with a performance that promises both emotional intensity and raw physicality in 'Dil Madharasi'. With the support of Sri Lakshmi Films, 'Dil Madharasi' is expected to be a spectacular film with a stellar cast and excellent production values.
Esteemed cinematographer Sudeep Elamon helms the visuals, while music maestro Anirudh Ravichander is composing the score, promising an evocative soundscape that amplifies the films narrative depth.
Among the other actors are: Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Shabeer, and Vikranth.
The film features editing by Sreekar Prasad and action choreography by Kevin and Dhilip Masters.
The makers locked in the release date with a fiery poster and a cheeky caption, “The Mad and Massy ride of #Madharasi is coming – from September 5th in theatres worldwide". The film's global release date, September 5, 2025, was formally announced by the producers on the occasion of the Tamil New Year.
