SLBC tunnel rescue operations continue: Soil excavation and water pumping in progress

Hyderabad, Mar 26 (UNI) Relief operations inside the SLBC tunnel continued on Wednesday as authorities intensified efforts to rescue the remaining trapped workers.
Disaster and Management Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar and Special Officer Shiv Shankar Loteti (IAS), who was appointed to oversee the operations, held a review meeting with senior officials at the SLBC Tunnel Office to assess the ongoing rescue efforts.
The SLBC tunnel accident, which occurred on February 22, trapped eight workers. So far, the bodies of two victims have been recovered and handed over to their families. Authorities are making special efforts to expedite operations to rescue the remaining six workers.
