Vijayawada, June 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Housing and I&PR, K Parthasarathy, said on Saturday that the Chandrababu Naidu-headed government has fulfilled 85 percent of ‘Super Six’ assurances given to the people.
Addressing a press conference here, the Minister announced that one more flagship scheme ‘Annadatha Sukhibhava’ would be implemented during the month of June.
“The Naidu headed coalition is committed to fulfil all the assurances given to the people before the elections. So far 85 percent of the welfare schemes have been fulfilled, and the rest of the welfare schemes will also be implemented soon,” the Minister stated.
Stating the government is giving equal priority for implementing welfare schemes and carrying out development works, the Minister lamented that the Naidu headed AP government inherited debt of Rs 10 lakh crore. Despite financial constraints, the government is implementing all the welfare schemes as per the promise, he reiterated.
Parthasarathy highlighted the government’s commitment of generating 20 lakh jobs during the five years, adding that the government is going forward to achieve Vision 2047 and 15 percent growth rate.
The I&PR Minister also announced that benefits of the ‘Amma Vadi’ scheme would be given to every child in every eligible family and the money is being credited into the accounts of women under the scheme.
The government had disbursed Rs 34,000 crore worth social security pensions under the NTR Bharosa scheme to the beneficiaries in one year, the Minister acknowledged.
Taking a dig at the erstwhile YSRCP government, Parthasarathy slammed them for failing to attract investments to the state and generate employment to the youth. Many companies, including Ashok Leyland and Amar Raja, left the State unable to bear the harassment meted out by the erstwhile government during the YSRCP regime, he lashed out.
