Hyderabad, Mar 26 (UNI) The Telangana Legislative Assembly convened at 1000 hours Wednesday for the 11th day of its budget session.
Soon after the proceedings began, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar suspended the Question Hour and initiated discussions on demands for grants for the financial year 2025-26.
The discussions will cover various departments, including the Governor and Council of Ministers, General Administration and Elections, Administration of Justice, Home Administration, Fiscal Administration, Planning, Surveys and Statistics, Energy, State Legislature, Revenue, Registration and Relief, Housing, Irrigation and Command Area Development, and Civil Supplies Administration.
Additionally, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu (Finance & Planning, Energy) will move the proposal:
"That the Government be granted a sum not exceeding ₹50,471,16,27,000/- for further expenditure during the year 2024-25 as per the Heads of Demands shown in the Notice dated March 25, 2025."
Following this, the House will proceed with discussions and voting on the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for 2024-25.
