Telangana: BRS urges Centre to stop Operation Kagar, calls for peace talks

Hyderabad, Apr 27 (UNI) The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party in its silver jubilee massive meeting on Sunday appealed to the Central government to stop Operation Kagar against Maoists and call the red ultras for peace talks.
Addressing the well attended meeting here, BRS Supremo and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) asked the BJP-led NDA government at the centre to stop Operation Kagar.
It may be mentioned here that the ‘largest ever’ anti-naxal operation along the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border has been on since Wednesday.
The anti-naxal operation was majorly focused in the neighbouring Chhattisgarh, KCR said the massacre was not right, “no dharma”, and appealed to the Centre to stop the killing and instead call the Maoists for peace talks and "to listen to what they will tell”.
He asked the Centre not to go on a killing spree just because it had power. UNI KNR SSP
