Telangana CM directs metro rail expansion to Future City

Hyderabad, Apr 11 (UNI) In a major step toward enhancing urban infrastructure and connectivity, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to prepare final proposals for extending the Hyderabad Metro Rail to the proposed Future City.
The directive came during a high-level review meeting held at the Command Control Center on Friday.
During the review, the Chief Minister took stock of the progress related to the second phase of the Metro expansion project. Officials briefed him that approvals from the Central Government are still awaited, although discussions have already been held with officials in New Delhi.
