Those who hurt self-respect will not be tolerated: Farmer leaders

Muzaffarnagar (UP), May 3 (UNI) Farmer leaders and workers from various districts across Uttar Pradesh on Saturday strongly condemned misbehaviour with Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Naresh Tikait and said that those who hurt self-respect will not be tolerated at any cost.
To protest against the incident, the farmers held the 'Kisan Swabhiman Panchayat' organised by various social and religious organisations in the Town Hall Ground of Muzaffarnagar.
Addressing the mahapanchayat, BKU president Naresh Tikait expressed gratitude to the crowd and said that he expresses gratitude to all the people who came, forgetting party and religion. "We can be against any party or person but cannot be traitors. We also love the country," he said.
