Amaravati, Apr 2 (UNI) The Meteorological Centre on Wednesday predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30-40 kmph in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema over the next four days.
Additionally, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected in these regions over the next seven days.
Over the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema. The maximum temperature soared to 38.6 degrees Celsius in Nandyal and Kurnool districts of Rayalaseema on Tuesday, making it the hottest recorded temperature in the region.
