The management has increased surveillance for the security of the cubs. With these four new cubs, the tiger population in Nauradehi reserve has reached 23.

Nauradehi Tiger Reserve's Deputy Director, Dr. A A Ansari, said that their patrol team spotted the cubs a few days ago. A search team was formed under the leadership of a ranger, which located the tigeress N-112 with her four cubs during a search operation with elephants.
Dr Ansari said the total number of tigers would now be 23 if the cubs are included, although cubs are not typically included in the tiger census.
