TikToker arrested over 'disrespecting police uniform' in Pakistan

Islamabad, Apr 18 (UNI) A TikToker was arrested on Friday by Pakistan's Punjab police over disrespecting police uniform.
This came after a video was posted on TikTok by the man, named Zameer, in which he was seen handing a tray of money to a man wearing police uniform at a wedding, identified as driver constable Khurram Shahzad. An FIR was registered on Thursday at the Qila Gujjar Singh police station.
In a video posted on his Instagram, Zameer claimed that the man in the video was his personal guard, not police personnel and that his alleged black clothes were changed to a police uniform using AI by “enemies”.
However, during an enquiry, the constable confessed that the video in which he was wearing uniform was real and from that wedding event.
The TikToker claimed he respected and loved the Punjab police and would fight the case in the high court. UNI AKT SSP
