TMC tears into Narendra Modi for avoiding all-party meeting on Thursday

Kolkata, Apr 25 (UNI) The West Bengal Trinamool Congress lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday for prioritising election campaigning in Bihar over attending an all-party meeting and key national security discussions following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.
The party was referring to the all-party meeting held on Thursday at the Parliament House complex in New Delhi, convened in response to the Pahalgam terror attack where all political parties expressed support for the actions taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security against Pakistan.
The meeting was chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP President J.P. Nadda and major leaders of all the political parties. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was notably absent due to his ongoing election campaign in Bihar.
