Hyderabad, Apr 14 (UNI) In a tragic incident, two children died of suffocation inside a parked car at Damaragidda in Chevella Mandal, Rangareddy district of Telangana, on Monday.

According to police reports, the deceased were identified as Thanmayashree (5) and Ahinayashree (4). The children had come to attend a relative’s wedding and were playing inside a car when the doors automatically locked. Unnoticed by others, they remained trapped inside and eventually died of suffocation.

Worried family members began searching for the children after realising they had been missing for a long time. They were eventually found unconscious inside the vehicle and rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.

Police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway.
