Barabanki (UP), May 1 (UNI) Two persons were killed and four others were injured when an SUV collided with a dumper in Ramnagar area of Barabanki district here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, police sources said.
Police sources said that the incident happened in the morning near Dalsarai village on Barabanki-Bahraich National Highway when six people from Aliya Bulbul village of Bahraich were going to Lucknow's Amausi Airport in the SUV. "Near Dalsarai village the SUV collided with a dumper coming from the opposite direction. The collision was so severe that the SUV was blown to pieces," they said.
Police sources said that the SUV driver Jamid Ali (45) and Sumaiya (28) died on the spot while Mohammad Ali (55), Sajida (50), Rehana (18) and Sahil Ansari (6) were injured. "Police took the injured to CHC from where they were referred to the district hospital," they said.
