UP: 3 teenagers die, 1 injured after being hit by car

Bareilly (UP), May 4 (UNI) Three teenagers died and one more was injured after being hit by a car while working on the roadside in a wedding procession in Shahi area of Bareilly district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Sunday.
Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Mukesh Chandra Mishra said that the car crushed four teenagers in Anandpur village late on Saturday night. "Mohit (14), Sachin (15) and Rohit (14), all residents of Bakainia Dheerpur village, died in the incident. Sanjeev (14) was seriously injured," he said.
He said that the police reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received. Legal action is being taken for negligence in the case. "The police has recovered the crashed car from the spot," he said.
The family members of the deceased teenagers said that all the accident victims worked in Shiva Band located in Anandpur.
