Auraiya (UP), May 5 (UNI) A woman died and four others were injured after a wall of a house collapsed due to a storm in Ajitmal area of the district here in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, police sources said here.

Police said that Meera Devi (50), a resident of Babarpur town of Ajitmal area, had come with her son Kanhaiya to attend the wedding ceremony at the house of her relative Sanjeev Nagar in Suran village under Sadar Kotwali area.

"On Monday evening, Sanjeev's wedding-related programmes were going on when the weather turned inclement and the concrete wall of the house collapsed due to strong wind," they said.

Police further said that while Meera Devi died in the incident, pregnant Nandini (22), Saurabh Nagar (25), Akash (24) and Kamlesh (61) were seriously injured.
