Youth Congress to organise job fair on June 19

New Delhi, June 17 (UNI) To mark the birthday of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, the Indian Youth Congress will hold a job fair here on June 19.

Announcing this at a press conference here on Tuesday, IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib, Delhi IYC in-charge Khusbhu Sharma and Delhi Youth Congress president Ajay Lakra said, about 100 companies will participate in the job fair to be organised at the Talkatora Stadium here.

Chib said that there have been about 20,000 registrations so far. He said, all the youth having studied from Plus-Two to PhD can participate in the fair, as there will be varied job options depending upon the educational qualification of the applicants.

He said besides the job fair in Delhi, similar fairs will be held in different states, besides blood donation camps and seminars on caste census.

Chib said that this will also be reminder to the BJP led central government that it had failed to provide jobs to youth when it had promised to provide two crore jobs every year.

The IYC president said that unemployment in the country right now was worse in last 40-50 years as the BJP government had failed to generate jobs.
