Youth shot dead over personal rivalry in Sultanpur

Sultanpur (UP), Apr 4 (UNI) A 26-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified miscreants allegedly over personal rivalry in Kadipur of Sultanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Friday.
Police sources said that Rakesh Vishwakarma, a resident of Malikpur Nonra village, had left home after having dinner on Thursday night. "At some distance from the house, motorcycle-borne armed miscreants shot him. The family members and the people of the area reached the spot and immediately took him to the Community Health Center Kadipur," they said.
Police sources said that after first aid, the doctor referred him to the Government Medical College where he died. "After this, the family members created a ruckus in the hospital and then staged a protest by placing the body on the road in front of the hospital gate," they said.
