12 new Covid-19 cases reported in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, June 13 (UNI) The Covid Control and Demand Centre has confirmed 12 new cases of Covid-19 in Chhattisgarh, alongside the recovery of 15 patients.

New cases have been reported from seven districts of the states.

Raipur registered the highest with six patients, followed by four in Bilaspur and two in Durg district.

Currently the state has 42 active Covid patients; of these, 35 are in home isolation.

Additionally, six patients are receiving treatment in general wards, while one is currently in the ICU. To date, 45 patients have been discharged from the hospital.

Ludhiana, Jun 13 (UNI) BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today came down heavily on Punjab's Bhagwant Mann government, berating its "unconstitutional and anti-farmer policies" including the land pooling scheme and demanded it be withdrawn immediately.

During his campaign for the Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll, Chugh met farmer delegations, especially from 37 villages affected by the land pooling scheme. He was handed a detailed memorandum by the farmers, seeking urgent intervention and protection of their land rights.
