Shah will travel to Gurdaspur, Sangrur and Mansa districts to meet the bereaved families as the drug menace continues to dominate political discourse in Punjab.
According to the schedule released on Monday, Shah will first visit Mari Panwan village in the Sri Hargobindpur area of Gurdaspur district to meet the family of Vikramjit Singh.
He will then travel to Hardam Patti in Toor Banjara village of Sangrur district, where he is scheduled to meet the family of Gulzar Singh in thd afternoon.
The Home Minister will subsequently visit Mansa to meet the family of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota, whose killing has triggered protests and demands for justice across Punjab.
The three men had reportedly raised their voices against drug trafficking before their deaths.
Shah is scheduled to address the media in Ludhiana before attending the Vijayadashami celebrations at Ramleela Ground on Daresi Road.
The programme includes the symbolic burning of the "Ravana of drugs", linking the traditional Dussehra ritual with the campaign against drug trafficking in Punjab.
The visit comes amid mounting political pressure on the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government over drug-related deaths, organised trafficking and the safety of those campaigning against the menace.
The BJP has repeatedly criticised the state government's anti-drug measures, while the Punjab government has maintained that it is pursuing an extensive campaign against drug trafficking.
Shah's meetings with the three families are expected to bring renewed attention to demands for justice and stronger action against drug networks operating in the state.
