AP: Ex-CM Jagan Reddy emphasizes environmental conservation

Vijayawada, June 5 (UNI) On the occasion of World Environment Day, former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy highlighted the pressing need to combat plastic pollution and protect the environment for the survival of humanity.



Taking to ‘X’, on Thursday, he echoed the United Nations' message on curbing plastic usage, describing it as a critical priority.



"The Earth is being engulfed by the menace of plastic. The United Nations' message on World Environment Day to protect the environment by curbing plastic usage is of utmost importance. The survival of humanity is intrinsically linked to environmental conservation. This is an undeniable truth, and I hope we all remain committed to this cause,” former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated.
