AP: Village gets protected water supply with Minister’s initiative

Kakinada, June 12(UNI) The tiny village of Polamurupadu, a hamlet of Dugguduru in Kajuluru mandal near here has at last got the protected water supply after fifteen years of long wait, that too with the initiative taken by the Labour Minister Vasamsetti Subhash.
All these years they were depending upon wells and RO Plants for drinking water.
At the initiative taken by the Minister the water supply pipe line from Kuyyeru village to Kolanka village panchayat was extended to Polamurupadu, thereby solving the problem.
The Minister inaugurated the protected water supply to the village on Thursday.
Minister Subhash told the villagers that the Alliance government would stand by them and improve the basic infrastructure facilities in the village.
Responding to the request of the villagers, Minister Subhash has ordered the officials to set right the low voltage problem and also take up the construction of a 30 meters CC road in the village. MPDO Rambabu, Sarpanch Pothu Venkata Lakshmi Jyothikumar, Kajuluru and Kotipalli water distribution committee presidents Krishna Chaithanya, Datla Vijaya Gopalaraju, Namavanipalem Sarpanch Bhupatiraju Chittiraju, Mandal TDP president Chavvakula Narayanamurty were among those attended.
