At Asian Games, Performance Science takes centre stage for IIS Athletes: Samuel Pullinger

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) With the Asian Games now underway, months of preparation have transitioned into competition, with athletes across disciplines focused on executing their plans and performing when it matters most.
For the Performance Science team at the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS), the role now is to ensure athletes have the support they need to manage the demands of competition - from recovery and nutrition to weight management, injury prevention and mental readiness.
For Samuel Pullinger, Head of Performance Science at the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS), supporting athletes during a multi-sport event also means adapting to the different circumstances and requirements of athletes across disciplines.
