Badal should spare Punjab, save his advice for his family: AAP's Pannu hits back

Chandigarh, June 24 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) hit back at Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) President Sukhbir Singh Badal’s statement regarding appointments in the Punjab government, saying Badal can clearly see the end of his political career approaching fast with the forfeiture of the SAD candidate’s deposit in the Ludhiana West Assembly by-election.
AAP leader Baltej Pannu criticised Sukhbir Badal, saying, "We do not need your advice. Spare Punjab and save your advice for your family."
He further remarked that the Badal family’s selfishness has reduced Akali Dal to "Khali Dal".
He added, "All prominent leaders have left the party. It has now become their private limited company. It would be better if Badal refrains from commenting on Punjab’s issues."
In a taunt, Pannu said that Badal’s panic stems from the fact that in elections, his party is now competing with NOTA.
"He fears that NOTA might receive more votes than his candidates. Since 2017, Akali Dal has faced disastrous defeats in every election. No party in Punjab’s history has ever seen such a downfall," he said.
He added that Sukhbir Badal’s situation has deteriorated to the extent that no one in Punjab believes anything he says. "Due to his deceit and betrayal, he has completely lost the trust of the people," Pannu claimed.
