Bangladesh to face UAE in two Sharjah T20Is

Dhaka, May 2 (UNI) Bangladesh are set to travel to the UAE later this month to take on the hosts in

a two-match T20I series.

The matches are scheduled for May 17 and 19 at the iconic Sharjah International Cricket Stadium, with both games set to start at 7 pm local time, an Emirates Cricket Board release on Friday said

The series will be Bangladesh's first meeting with the UAE in a bilateral T20I series since 2022,

the Daily Star reported.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) CEO, Nizamuddin Chowdhury, highlighted the significance of the series as a tune-up ahead of a major event.

"This series will serve as the team's preparation ahead of a packed calendar, involving the Asia Cup," he said.
